About the Team
We are looking for a new colleague who will join our aftermarket global purchasing team in Xuhui district, Shanghai.

What you can look forward to as Purchasing Supervisor:

● Global Sourcing Strategy Development and Execution: Assist in analysing global supplier market trends, commodity cost dynamics and supply risk identification to provide insight of global sourcing strategy development; Lead team to execute the global sourcing strategy to support overall business objectives. Identify key categories for global souring to diversify the supply chain and optimize TCO.
● Supplier Development and Management: Lead the search, evaluation and qualification of new suppliers in AP for global by preferred supplier base establishment. Develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers, driving continuous improvement program covering cost, quality, delivery and project development and innovation. Supplier performance management and conduct regular business reviews to ensure meet our requirements of CQDJI.
● Cost Control and Value Creation: Responsible for annual cost-saving target by cost analysis, negotiation and process optimization. Explore and implement VAVE incl. tech VAVE and resourcing from HCC to BCC. Monitor the PPV and analyse impact of market fluctuation to develop mitigation solutions.
● Cross-functional Collaboration and Process Optimization: Work closely with cross-function team to ensure purchasing activities align with business need. Drive the process optimization and digitization to enhance efficiency and transparency.
● Contract Management: Draft, negotiate and manage global contracts and agreement to control risk. Identify, assess and mitigate potential risk in supply chain due to geopolitical, logistic etc. to avoid the supply chain disruption; Lead and manage AP suppliers footprint diversification to avoid potential risk.
● Team management and development: As team leader, guild and coach the team to improve the team’s professional capability with global sourcing perspective; Develop and share the best practices with team; Motivate and aspirate the team to achieve higher performance and continuing improvement. Innovate or develop new tools to improve the team efficiency and transparency.

Your Profile as Purchasing Supervisor:

● Bachelor or higher education. Excellent negotiation skills and contract management. 5 years experiences in purchasing management in auto industry
● Stronge capability of cost analysis and financial analysis.
● Leadership and influence to drive cross-functional collaboration.
● Proven experience working with cross-cultural functional team with commendable results in cost savings and performance improvement.
● Strong ability to manage project and problem solving.
● Quick adapt to fast paced working environment and high pressure.
● Systematic and logic thinking, strong data analysis skill and management.
● Knowledge of quality concepts and processes such as ISO 9000 and TS16949.
● Good communication skill in English and Chinese.
